Brewpub with its own brewery, hotel and a 200-seat beer garden at Leyergasse 6, pouring the house Scheffel's beers.

At the Kulturbrauerei the Merz family has run an ensemble of hotel, brewery, inn and beer garden in the Old Town for around 20 years. Beer is brewed in the house's own brewhouse according to the Purity Law; depending on the season three of the Scheffel's beers are on tap, such as pilsner, Kräusen, light wheat beer or dark wheat beer. The kitchen describes itself as classic regional with Mediterranean touches, at lunch and dinner. Seating: Ritterhalle 130, Braustube 60, Scheffelstube 50, gallery 40 and beer garden 200. The house asks guests to book, including for the beer garden, by phone, via OpenTable or the form. Groups can book a tour of the fermentation and storage cellars. The Wirtshaus zum Seppl on Hauptstrasse also belongs to the house.
