District
Ziegelhausen
The easternmost district on the Neckar between vineyards and the Odenwald - almost idyllic, with a ferry and the Neuburg Abbey.
Ziegelhausen lies three kilometers upstream of the Old Town on the north bank of the Neckar. Neuburg Abbey with its monastery brewery, the Neckar ferry, old tobacco barns and a dense network of hiking and cycling paths into the Odenwald make Ziegelhausen Heidelberg's most rural district.
