Boxberg
A high-rise quarter on the mountain above Rohrbach - 1960s urban planning, dense building and a wide view over Heidelberg.
Boxberg was built in the 1960s as a high-rise residential estate above Rohrbach. Its hillside setting gives residents an unobstructed view of Heidelberg, the Rhine-Neckar valley and, on clear days, all the way to the Palatinate. Its own schools, a shopping center and a strong neighborhood identity define the district.
