Café Schafheutle at Hauptstrasse 94 was founded in 1832 by M. C. Krall; in 1933 Otto Schafheutle took over and opened the Theatercafé. Today Martina Schafheutle-Kübel and her son Julian Kübel run the house. Its own bakery makes cakes, gateaux, pralines and ice cream, using Valrhona chocolate for the pralines. You can sit in the winter garden, the theatre room, the fireplace room or the garden café in the courtyard. Breakfast is served, quiches at lunchtime and cakes in the afternoon. Tables can be booked online.
